580 Signature

a hard act to follow

The new Privilege 580 has a hard act to follow. Its predecessor, the 585, continues to be a much sought-after blue water yacht famous for its heavy weather sailing ability and liveaboard capacity.

The new 580 is designed and built to improve on that record.

forward lounge

The 580 Signature is available with either a forward lounge that can be accessed from both the salon and the owner’s suite, or without the lounge. Instead of the lounge, the foredeck converts to a large storage area accessed through the deck hatches. This second configuration does not allow for access from the salon or the owner’s cabin.

shaft drive propulsion

A serious offshore yacht should not be burdened with sail drives. A robust shaft drive installation ensures that engine and transmission components are accessible while the boat in the water.

helm position

The helm position provides greater visibility and direct communication to the cockpit and the upper fly deck. An intelligent line management system allows you to trim and adjust your sails without ever leaving the helm. Also, single line reefing, main halyard, main sheet and genoa sheets are led to two electric winches right at the helm. The genoa is easily controlled by the standard electric furling system.

Forward facing navigation

The forward facing navigation position is an ideal location to plot your next course. The spacious work area gives you plenty of room to plan your passages and stay in touch with the cruising community.
