We Don’t Build Copycats

Privilege Catamarans is one of the few yacht builders willing to take on owner's requests for customizations. So why are so many other production boat builders reluctant to make customizations beyond fabric color choices?

That’s because moving something as simple as a cabinet on a boat has a real cascading effect on the mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems. Privilège Catamarans has the in-house engineering capability to take on these customizations and the skilled workforce to see them through to completion.

The bulkhead is removed for a more spacious toilet in the owner's cabin
The bulkhead is removed, opening up the whole dressing area to the toilet and sink that is separated by two doors from the living and sleeping area.

What starts out as a customization might actually become a new standard. For example, the re-design of the toilet area in the owner’s cabin, removing the bulkhead and opening up the space to create a spacious area, may become a new option for future owners.
